Portland Bird Guide

I’m a very nice man and also the author of Neighborhood Birding 101. Come look at birds with me!

Come Birding with me!

Join me on a bird adventure in the greater Portland metro region.  I know lots of wonderful spots to look at birds, and am happy to make recommendations based on what you’d like to see and how much time you’d like to spend birdwatching.

I’m happy to cater to your mobility level and help you meet your birding goals.  From starting with birding 101 to finding a nice birdy ADA-friendly  spot to watch birds.  From chasing after specific target species to just exploring a park in your neighborhood or going on a photography outing.  I’d love to meet you where you are at and teach you everything I know about our little feathered friends.

Borrow a pair of my binoculars, bring a friend or two (or your whole family) and lets go birding.  I have a scope we can use to get great views, 5 pairs of Celestron binoculars to let you borrow/ try out, and a bunch of kid binoculars if you’d like to bring along some tiny friends.  With enough notice, I’m ready for anything!

Pricing is very flexible/negotiable.  I’m happy to do group rates and day rates.  I don’t want anyone to not go birding because of a price barrier!  If these prices seem high, please make me an offer/trade!

These are all just examples, if you want something else, let me know and we can figure out a price!
