3/30 Fernhill Wetlands Bird Walk
March 30, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Forest Grove’s premier birding location: Fernhill Wetlands! This place has tons of birds and is a great place to explore. We can look forward to seeing lots of ducks, swallows, songbirds, herons, and maybe even a big white bird? Pelican? Swan? Egret?
Borrow a pair of my binoculars & join me to learn the meditative joys of bird watching.
We’ll meet in the parking lot.
I’ll provide you with binoculars, teach you how to use them, and we will explore about two miles of of flat gravel trails. I’ll teach you a few bird calls as well as point out the different species we see and hear, and answer any questions you have about bird watching and birds.
This tour is designed for beginners, but I welcome all levels of bird enthusiasts! Want to focus on birding by ear, bird photography? Let me know!
In our three hours of bird watching we should see 30+ different species of birds!
Accessibility is my priority so please know I am willing to adapt my experience based on your level of mobility/ability.
